Puppies are insanely energy consuming. I was house sitting for friends as they worked on cruise liners and they adopted a daschund puppy just before they went back for another 8 month stint on the seas. Little Lola was an absolute terrorist! Harassing the cats and even chewed a whole pack of antique leather coasters: the box too! She was super loving and had zero discipline 🤣 basically a toddler, but too short and too fast to catch. They also had a much older dashie who used to jump into my bed before I'd even get the chance to lift the duvet a few centimeters. I had the priveldge of knowing and loving him for nigh on 12 years. He passed away at the age of 19. Such special dogs!
