RE: Meet Pebbles, My Fur-Baby: I Finally Adopted a Puppy!

in Hive Pets3 years ago

Yay Pebbles! so cute!! :) I only had 2 boy beagles so far, but i know that all dogs need some excercise. u are lucky that Pebbles is small, so she gets some exercise just moving around the house, but would also want daily walks.. even a short walk around the block.. on the leash.. it teaches them discipline as well as physical exercise.. it's also a mental exercise and bonding for her and u.

we had Dobby (our last beagle) while we were living in a condo in quezon city. so he grew to be pretty too big for that condo, but anyway, we had those square pee pads (the disposable one u buy at pet store or we got em at S&R). it didn't stop him 100% from peeing all over, but he would always poop there since it's the most grass-like thing he sees or perhaps he knows he should?, unless he was mad at u and then he purposely would go somewhere he know he shouldn't). so, 90% effective. then we would use toilet tissue to pick up his poop and flush it down the toilet, although i don't think this is good or proper for the septic system. oops. this cuts down on always buying new pads, but once they get soaked or dirty, just throw away.

Omg huhu soooo sorry if this is a late response @chinito MY INTERNET'S BEEN CRAZY AFTER ODETTE, the thread of comments for this post seem to not load😭

Thank you for these helpful pieces of advice! ♥️

I'm struggling with potty training her but I'm happy that one day at a time, she's peeing in the right place (pee pad) but she's pooping, well... On some places inappropriate 😅😥 It's a challenge to keep her silent sometimes because she's too HYPERACTIVE 🥺😅

Oooh you had a beagle? That's awesome! They're also cute and very friendly.

Hope you have a great week ahead! 💕
