I love my fur babies but sometimes you must let go of one to make a home with a new one.
Hello, again hive family it's me your only @chimegipamus and welcome to my story.
My last post was the birthday celebration of Chim and Kram, after a week I decided to pursue my plan to buy a new puppy. It's been a month already since I looked for a not-so-expensive shih-tzu puppy.
The next day after the celebration I found a new one and arranged the buying meet-ups. It was Monday last week that we met the seller at Talisay City bringing an adorable and active puppy. I already fell in love with his features and cuteness overload.
I was so excited to meet him that instead of a 4 pm meet I was already in the place by 2:30 and decided to buy stuff for him. After the payment, we were heading home bringing our new fur family member. We name him "Rapture" with Raprap as his nickname. He is very comfortable with the name that whenever we call him his ears will move upward.
When we arrived at the house Chim and Kram did not welcome him since they are very territorial pets. They keep on barking and Kram wants to bite him. It was a hard reaction for Raprap. Until evening Kram doesn't want Raprap to be inside while Chim becomes a bit controllable.
That night I stayed along with them and decided to let the new puppy sleep with us. Kram is angry with the new puppy so we decided to let him stay at our member's house. We bring Kram to our member's house so the new puppy can stay. I was saddened by what happened and also my husband.
As soon as Kram was transferred we had peace and order in the house. Chim adopted already the situation and by that whole day, they became friends. Chim is acting like a mother to rap, they both create a peaceful and happy home for us.
On the contrary, Kram is also creating a happy home. The family who adopted Kram were so happy having him. It was their first pet and they took good care of him. They were so happy having Kram with them. I was not saddened anymore since I know Kram is in good hands. Kram visits us every weekend in our house.
Chim and Raprap were also very happy with each other. I can see the motherly instinct of Chim in how he takes care of him. They went to sleep together and played together. They are very comfortable with one another.
Even though Kram is not together with us still he has a special place in our hearts, yet we see him every weekend. The family ties and bond were still there and the joy of being together with them is so special. These little fellows of mine make an inner joy inside my heart. There are some adjustments to be made since having small puppies means starting all over from caring to training but it's my happiness 😅😅.

I couldn’t give my dog away just to make way for a puppy. Sorry but the pup would have to go back. I would see it as my fault for thinking my other pets would accept it.

I could now remember how my elder brother's family love dogs.
They are my family, they give all their love.
