Hello there my people
I unfold before you here my humble designs for the Hive Pets Community
As a Graphic Designer and Photographer (Fine Art student) but also a pets lover (I have 4 cats) i had a little extra fun doing it.
I. Process design of the logo:
First of i had to do some brainstorming on paper, Keywords: "Hive, Pets, Community"
After i found the main idea, i found a free paw vector design that looks a little bit like heads:
The people (Which symbolize the community) can't be seen, so i did some splitting without losing the main shape (Which took a few hours) , i also relocated and resized the heads:
After a few hours of experimentation (After i added the Hive logo) of Layouts, and after choosing a color palette (Sea green Crayola & Lavender Blue) that works with Cadmium Red color of the Hive logo and symbolise the grounding tranquility pets give us , And after adding some black contours as well, i ended up with this:
II. Process of the design of the banner:
For the banner i used three photos i took of my cat, that i vectorized
Then i added contours, more paws, Transformed Text and lastly the Logo
The symbolism of the banner is how pets are our link to nature.
The final result:
Banner lost its original colors on the JPEG format
