Hello hivers, I come to tell you how has been my experience with a new pet in this case it is a piglet (Piggy) named George.

George is a piggy that I have had for a week, I have been taking care of him and educating him since then. When George came to me he was 25 days old, he was a little malnourished and he didn't know how to eat even though he was big, all this was due to the fact that when he was born his mother didn't want him because he had many siblings and in those cases the mother always leaves unattended the smallest and with less possibilities to live, in this case the one she left unattended was George.

When George arrived he only drank milk from a bottle because his mother had stopped taking care of him, he didn't drink much breast milk and because of that he was a little malnourished.

So I decided to teach him to eat of course with my mother's guidance, because the teat was no longer feeding him, but first we gave him the iron vaccine that baby pigs need and we also had him cut his tusks (this practice is necessary because when the tusks grow they also grow in such a way that the pigs look like wild boars and with those tusks they could hurt someone unintentionally), after that we started to teach him to eat first I started giving him soup in the teat instead of milk and yes the soup filled him up much more because after eating he would lie down and fall asleep, Once he got used to the soup we started to serve him the soup in a cup, obviously as he didn't have any pig to show him how to eat it was a little difficult for him but when we left him alone he started to eat, he had no other choice because when he saw us he asked for a bottle and threw the food away.

This was the first time he ate from then on he started to eat cambur shells, patilla shells, etc. This photo was taken secretly from him

Another thing I want to tell you about George or about pigs in general is that they are very intelligent, I am surprised at how intelligent they are and that they are also very affectionate.

One thing I didn't know about pigs and learned from George is that pigs love to bask in the morning and afternoon sun here's the evidence.

And well we taught George basic things so that when he goes to his natural habitat he doesn't suffer in the process of adaptation, since he slept in a basket with a sheet, he lived in an apartment, they bathed him with toilet soap and dried him with a hair dryer for God's sake and obviously when he grew up he couldn't stay in the apartment, well I tell you my greatest satisfaction is that the piggy eats only food nowadays and some shells of some fruits and in my house he is currently sharing with my other pets Raryty and Rosa.

One of the things I enjoy the most with the piggy is to take him for a walk with the collar of my dogs, I think he likes it too, and another thing he likes is to be scratched on his belly.

Thanks for reading I hope you liked this post I'll see you in the next one.

Actually, Pigs are smarter than dogs. The photo of George basking on the sun is too adorable to see! I hope George will enjoy his time with your family and enjoy every moment with you guys!
