Today I am writing to tell you how things have gone with my new pet, and not only that, now I have more than one, do you remember Morrocoy found my husband in the yard? or rather from the egg that hatched by accident. She didn't know if she would survive, and she didn't know how to take care of this little guy either, because although her entire navel hasn't fallen off yet, she is a very active morrocoya.

At first I had her in a small terrarium but then I thought she would need more space. In the patio there is a passion fruit plant that grew in a rubber tree, and I thought that this would be a welcoming environment for the morrocoya.

Eat, climb, walk... I am very happy because it is the first time that I have one of these animals in my care, however now my experience becomes more and more exciting, I tell you.

Hoy les escribo para contarles como me ha ido con mi nueva mascota, y no solo eso ahora tengo más que una, ¿Se acuerdan del Morrocoy encontró a mi esposo en el patio? o mejor dicho del huevo que partió por accidente. No sabía si sobreviviría, y tampoco de como cuidar de este pequeñín, pues aunque todavía no se le ha caído todo el ombligo, es una morrocoya muy activa.

Al principio la tenía en un terrario pequeño pero luego pensé que necesitaría más espacio. En el patio hay una mata de parchita que creció en un caucho, y pensé que ese sería un ambiente acojedor para la morrocoya.

Come, trepa, camina... Estoy muy contenta pues primera vez que tengo a uno de estos animales en mi cuidado, sin embargo ahora mi experiencia cada vez se vuelve más emocionante, les cuento.

Weeks later we met two more morrocoys in the patio, we thought that the first one was going to be happy with her sisters but the truth is that they were very indifferent.

As the days go by we find more in the patio, to this day we already have 6 little ones, they are so small that they fit on the sole of my hand.

They eat anything, but they especially like mango and banana, so from time to time I throw them out.

Semanas después nos encontramos a dos morrocoyas más en el patio, pensamos que la primera iba a estar contenta con sus hermanas pero la verdad se mostraron muy indiferentes.

Al pasar de los días encontramos otras más en el patio, hasta el día de hoy ya tenemos 6 pequeñitas, son tan pequeñas que caben en la planta de mi mano.

Ellas comen cualquier cosa, pero especialmente del gusta mucho el mango y el cambur, así que de vez en cuando les echo.

I know that rubber is already a very small place for 6 o'clock, so today I took them out of it so that they could stretch and eat something, well, a few seconds were enough for the older ones to try to escape, the only one who was focused on eating was the smaller, I suppose that it was already used to the small space, since the others we found already large and more developed.

Se que ya el caucho es un lugar muy pequeño para las 6 así que hoy las saque de el para que se estiraran y comieran algo, pues, basto unos segundos para que las más viejas buscarán escaparse, la única que estaba concentrada en comer era la más pequeña, supongo que ya estaba acostumbrada al espacio pequeño, pues las otras las encontramos ya grandes y más desarrolladas.

I realized that these animals are very independent, they like to walk and climb a lot, which is why if they are going to have this type of pet at home, they must have a patio so that they can be happy.

Una se me escapó de inmediato mientras les buscaba un mango para que comienzan, pero realmente no les hicieron casi caso, una solo le pegó unos dos mordiscos y ya.

Me di cuenta que estos animales son muy independientes, les gusta mucho caminar y trepar es por ello que si van a tener a este tipo de mascotas en casa, deben tener un patio para que ellas puedan ser felices.

I placed the five I had left on the rubber while I did my chores. My only cure for leaving them loose is that they are so small that I am afraid that they will go to the tasting and another animal like a dog will eat them or hurt them and I would prefer to wait until they are bigger.

In the afternoon I took them out again, because I saw that the big morrocoyes had gone for a walk in the patio and I thought that they wanted to do the same. Remember when I told you that I had lost one? well I saw it again and put it in the rubber, but it happened that now that I am going to take them out again I realized that there were only five left again. It turns out that they were all stacked up, and this last one climbed on top of them and was able to escape.

I realized their desperation and decided to release them. Below I show you some images from today that show what I have told you, they really are beautiful. They will also be able to see photos of the two morrocoys and the male morrocoy wanting to mate with one of them. Enjoy!

Coloqué a las cinco que me quedaban en el caucho mientras hacia mis quehaceres. mi pero curación por dejarlas sueltas es que son tan pequeñas que me da miedo que se vayan a la cata y otro animal como un perro se las coma o lastime y preferiría esperar a que sean más grandes.

En la tarde volví a sacarlas, pues ví que los morrocoyes grandes habían salido a caminar al patio y pensé que ellas querían hacer lo mismo. ¿Recuerdan que les dije que había perdido a una? bueno la volví a ver y la metí en el caucho, pero sucedió que ahora que las voy a sacar de nuevo me di cuenta que solo quedaban cinco otra vez. Resulta que se habían apilado todas, y está última trepó sobre ellas y pudo escapar.

Me di cuenta de su desesperación y decidí soltarlas. A continuación les muestro algunas imágenes de hoy que evidencian lo que les he dicho, realmente son hermosas. Además pordran ver fotos de las dos morrocoyas y el morrocoy macho queriendo aparearse con alguna. ¡Disfruten!
