Panterita is not a Witch || Panterita no es una Bruja 🐱

Throughout history, black cats have been viewed as unlucky animals. From European superstitions, these dark felines were associated with witches, dark magic, and omens of misfortune.

However, in certain cultures, they were considered a symbol of protection and good fortune.

For the Egyptians, they were seen as guardian animals against negative spiritual vibrations, possessing healing powers and protecting tombs and the pharaohs' valuables.

A lo largo de la historia, los gatos negros han sido vistos como animales de la mala suerte. Desde las supersticiones europeas, estos felinos oscuros estaban asociados con las brujas, la magia oscura y los presagios de la desgracia.

Sin embargo, en ciertas culturas se les tenía como un símbolo de protección y buena fortuna.
Para los Egipcios eran considerados animales guardianes de las bajas vibraciones espirituales, con poderes curativos, protectores de las tumbas y de los objetos de valor de los faraones.

I'll never forget how I found her; in the middle of a torrential downpour, she was shivering, just months old, and all alone, under my neighbor's car, which he parked on the street in front of my house.

I remember giving her milk diluted with water through a dropper, and then pureed food until she gradually gained strength and grew.

She grew into adulthood surrounded by love, and although many people don't like to see a black kitten, we all loved her at home. Her antics, her inquisitive nature, her love of exploring every corner, and her pleasure at surveying her surroundings from a high vantage point filled us with joy.

Nunca olvido cómo la encontré; en medio de una lluvia torrencial, estaba temblorosa, con meses de nacida y solitaria, bajo el carro de mi vecino que lo parqueaba en la calle frente a mi casa.

Recuerdo que le daba leche rebajada con agua con un gotero en su boquita, y después comida batida hasta que poco a poco fue ganando fuerza y creciendo.

Se hizo adulta rodeada de cariño, y a pesar de que a muchas personas no les gusta ver un gatico negro, a todos en casa nos encantaba, porque las ocurrencias que siempre tuvo, su sentido explorador, su gusto por escudriñar cada recinto de la casa y su placer de tomar control de su entorno desde una altura nos llenaba de alegría.

Today I'd like to introduce you to Panterita. She's been with us for over 12 years, and her gaze reflects respect and the weight of life.
The greenish-yellow color of her irises contrasts with the color of her fur. With those big, sharp eyes, she's like an owl, missing nothing.

Hoy les presento a Panterita. Lleva en casa más de 12 años, y refleja en su mirada respeto y el peso de la vida.
El color del iris de sus ojos, de color amarillo verdoso, contrasta con el color de su pelaje. Con esos ojazos grandes, es como un búho, que no se le escapa detalle alguno.

Today I wanted to share some photos and a bit of her story with this lovely community. If there's anything magical and hidden about my black cat, it's that she's always been there, a constant presence in our home, sharing our family's love, along with our other three gray cats.

Now she's a senior pet, with a digestive system that reflects her frailty. She has difficulty jumping to certain heights and sometimes falls because she misjudges the distance of her jump. But for us at home, she's still our beloved Panterita, that creature who has shared so many beautiful moments of love ❤️ with our family.

Hoy quise compartir unas fotos y parte de su historia en esta linda comunidad. Si hay algo oculto y mágico en mi gata negra, es que ella siempre ha estado ahí, bien presente en casa, compartiendo el amor de nuestra familia, junto a los otros 3 gaticos grises que tenemos.

Ya es una mascota de la tercera edad, con un sistema digestivo que refleja fragilidad. Le cuesta saltar a cierta altura, y a veces se cae porque no calcula bien la distancia del salto. Pero para nosotros en casa, sigue siendo nuestra querida Panterita, ese ser que ha compartido con nuestra familia muchos lindos instantes de amor ❤️.
