A study published by Brown University said lockdowns, mandates and other restrictions are likely to create a generation of children with lower IQs and signs of social brain damage.
Other studies have reported increased mental illnesses presenting among minors impacted by ongoing lockdown policies, stress and isolation from their peers, as well as unfounded fears associated with the coronavirus, which killed fewer than 800 of the 73.3 million Americans under the age of 18.
I must say when the craziness started I wasn't all that focused on this aspect of the picture and it took others bringing it to my attention to realize what a serious - and fully predictable - problem this is. And to think that this is done to children who we now know neither suffer much from COVID-19, nor are effective spreaders of the infection.
This is a test of who we are as a society. The longer we take it, the less we deserve to see our culture survive.

.And all of this for some bat flu. People are going insane. This isn't measles or tuberculosis, the mortality percentage is so tiny, it's practically irrelevant in global scale, but genius politicians decided to shut schools down to fuck future generations over even more, as if climate crisis wasn't enough.
I agree with you, after distance learning my children began to study worse, they do not want to do anything at all
In fact, when the education all over the world was affected by the coronavirus, I thought about this situation. Students were almost at home learnt not much for one and a half years education calender in my country. Fortunately, schools have remained open till now since September, 2021.
