RE: Faut-il encore construire des modèles au-delà du Modèle Standard de la physique des particules ?

Hi, sorry for off-topic, but in case you are still involved into STEMsocial, I would like to bring to your attention that it seems that not all STEMsocial upvotes are justified.
I noticed that this post in my insrect community has been upvoted by STEMsocial:
https://peakd.com/hive-101587/@danokoroafor/fascinating-facts-about-soldier-beetles

The problem is that the author writes a long text about 'soldier beetles' but all pictures in his post show completely different beetle species!
I am already accustomed to (and frustrated!) that many HIVE whales keep upvoting low quality posts (especially if some HIVE chilling is involved) but I think that at least in STEMsocial there should be kind of a 'quality control'. (And in case of doubt there would be always the option to just ask me ...)

HI jaki! Thanks for letting us know. I will pass this information to our curators, and we will stop supporting that author, at least for now (votes will be removed in a minute).

Note that our curators are not experts on all fields of science, which is why comments like yours are very useful. Sometimes, posts look legit, but we are not experts so that we cannot go beyond the "look". We however value a lot the opinion of every community members and will always act accordingly, whenever it is needed.

Cheers!

Thanks for your reply. Yes, of course I understand your curators cannot be experts in every field of science (as I am also not).

... we will stop supporting that author, at least for now ...

Right, and I have nothing against the author. As soon as he writes 'quality posts' in future, of course he also deserves every upvote.

Of course. If a post is fine, we will eventually find it :)
