STEMng Digest: Week 54

in StemSocial3 years ago

A good day to all the curators, creators, developers, and every other stakeholder of the hive community. Welcome to another week and another edition of our weekly publication where we showcase the best of Nigerian authors in the stem field on the hive blockchain

STEMng is a sub-community of the stemsocial community, a community that is dedicated to supporting stem authors on the hive blockchain.

Basically, our curators comb through the blockchain for stem-related content published by Nigerians that fulfill the curation criteria of the stemsocial community. Such posts are then submitted in the curation channel of the stemsocial community on discord for upvotes. The following articles are the picks for this week's STEMng digest:

1.@mularh: Eat Pawpaw, It Ease Menstrual Pains | Other Health Benefits Of Pawpaw

Pawpaw is a fruit that is popular all over the world and with several nutritional benefits to the human system. The author wrote an educative post on the specific health benefits of the plant beyond the fruit. Even if you have read enough posts on the health benefits of pawpaw, this one provides another angle to it.

2.@noble-noah: Which Programming language has Better Future?

Many of us might have wanted to delve into programming considering the fact that the skill might become vital in the nearest future. However, the main challenge is knowing which programming language to start with. The author provided an insight into what the future looks like and which programming language will likely take precedence.

3.@kethel: What is it that causes the sky to appear blue?

We are all used to the blueness of the sky but very few actually understand the science behind the blue colour. This is what the author decided to educate us about. Hop on the post to have a read.

4.@mularh: Why Garden Egg Is Important For Pregnant Women || Other Health Benefits

We are in the season of garden egg in Nigeria and a good time to get educated on some of the health benefits of consuming the fruit. This post really did justice to that.

5.@ebingo: Was he lying to his mother? Is this a medical case? (Malingering)

An interesting medical story from a doctor about a boy who appears to be pretending about his condition. He was given a presumptive diagnosis of malingering. Wanna know what kind of condition that is? Hop on the post.

6.@clinton19: Unsolved Mysteries Of Science: Quantum Mechanics And The Paradoxes Of Our Physical Reality

Another interesting piece about the subject of quantum mechanics. Read the post and follow the author if you are a fan of quantum mechanics.

7.@young-boss-karin: Eyes are expensive: My trip to the Optician

If you have a perfect eye condition, you might not know what those with one or two eye defects go through. Read the story of a young lady on what having an eye defect can mean in terms of psychology and cost. A really interesting read.
