Hello everyone, trust I meet y'all doing good?

It has been a task filled activity semester so far. One essential activity every final year student must carry out is a project. A final year project as it is usually being called is always included as a course for every graduating student. It is simply a task where topics are be assigned to individuals or group of individuals to work on. It could either be a Research project or a Design project. Mine is a design project.

I fall in a group of 5, and we had the opportunity to propose our topic, which was of course approved. It's The Design and Construction of a 15KVA Automatic Changeover Switch with GSM Control/Feedback (using SMS Module).

The topic felt kind of controversial because, why should one want to control a system which is said to be automated? But there were valid reason in which our supervisor also saw to it and agreed.

Basically, what the device does is to help you seamlessly change between two sources of power. i.e. from PHCH to Generator and vice-versa. It also has the ability to put ON and OFF a Generator set (Diesel engine).

I'm being careful not to let out too much information in my own words so it don't have issues during a plagiarism check on my project report. Hopefully I'll give a full break of the project after it has been successfully submitted to the school.

I'm just glad to share that I've successfully completed the construction of my finaly year project. Left with the defense. Wish me good luck.
