What you describe is true. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that some people like to start at full blast with Advanced workout splits or exercise with too much intensity in the first weeks and then burn out. What I'll recommend is beginning with something small and manageable that gives you a sense of accomplishment and momentum. That's how I got to where I am today.
Also, plan beforehand and keep track of the good things you do to motivate you. Great article and I hope people can understand this message.
Thank you very much for supporting what I said in the post. I find that people like to look at fitness as a new building rather than cleaning up what they already have. It is very hard to make a new building but if you clean up what you already have it is an easier way to look at things.
You'd hit right on the nail. A single step at a time is much better than starting from scratch.
