Mis queridos amigos de #Hive en esta oportunidad quiero presentarme ante la comunidad de @stemsocial esta es una comunidad que habla de temas científicos y de la cual hace mucho tiempo quería ser parte, por cuestiones de tiempo no me había dedicado a elaborar este post pero hoy me he animado a realizarlo.
¿Por qué formar parte de esta comunidad?
Hace algunos meses recibí mi titulo universitario en la Universidad de Oriente en Licenciatura en Bionalisis, lo cual me llega de una muy grata emoción. Los Bioanalistas se encargan de procesar, estudiar y analizar las diferentes muestras y tejidos humanos y de animales, ya sea sangre, secreciones, orina, heces y muchos mas.
Tomando en cuenta que estudie una carrera de ciencias de la salud y que esta comunidad se basa en la publicación de contenido científico y medico me llevo a querer formar parte de ella.
Les quiero hablar desde mi experiencia y mi trabajo.
Oficialmente soy personal de salud por lo que me gustaría compartir casos clínicos, procesos y todas las actividades que realizo en un laboratorio clínico.
Actualmente estoy prestando mis servicios en una clínica privada Llamada "La Victoria" en la Ciudad de Maturín en el estado Monagas, Venezuela. Trabajo por guardias de 24 horas y les puedo comentar que es realmente agotador, la mayoría de las veces tengo aspecto de zoombie y cuando me tengo que despertar en las mañanas para venir me pregunto porque elegí esta carrera luego al llegar comienzo a realizar mis funciones y corroboro que es algo que me gusta muchísimo y lo disfruto.
Estas lindas fotografías fueron tomadas para realizar un video en conmemoración del día del Bioanalista en el Laboratorio, el cual se celebra en mi país el 25 de Abril de cada año. En una de las fotos estoy posando junto a uno mis grandes aliados en el laboratorio que es el Microscopio y también el Equipo de Hematología Mindray BC2600
Es un trabajo realmente agotador, muchas veces frustrante, injusto pero a la vez muy gratificante.
Muchas veces a nuestros pacientes y sus familiares se les olvida que a pesar de tener una bata blanca que nos caracteriza como personal de salud también nos cansamos, queremos dormir, ir al baño e incluso comer. Lamentablemente para nosotros no existe días buenos y malos, siempre debemos tener la mejor disposición para atender a nuestros pacientes.
Todo trabajo medico es muy riesgoso, sobre todo si estamos en contacto directo con muestras humanas y de animales contagiosas todo el tiempo así como también el contacto con pacientes que están enfermos, existen muchas enfermedades que representan un peligro para el personal de salud en especial el Covid19, sabemos que ya la Organización mundial de la Salud (OMS) dio por termina la pandemia pero sabemos muy bien que cada día llegan mas y mas pacientes contagiados.
No solo eso, estamos en constante riesgo por enfermedades como hepatitis, HIV, lesiones de piel y musculoesqueléticas, exposición a radiaciones y al molesto ruido, exposición a gases, riesgo de pinchazos, cortes y muchas mas por eso si ves a un personal de salud se un poco mas amable y agradecido, podrías también regalar un café y un dulce.

My dear friends of #Hive in this opportunity I want to introduce myself to the community of @stemsocial this is a community that talks about scientific issues and which long ago I wanted to be part of, due to time issues I had not dedicated myself to develop this post but today I have been encouraged to do it.
Why to be part of this community?
A few months ago I received my university degree at the Universidad de Oriente in Bionalysis, which comes to me with a very pleasant emotion. Bioanalysts are in charge of processing, studying and analyzing the different samples and human and animal tissues, whether blood, secretions, urine, feces and many more?
Taking into account that I studied a career in health sciences and that this community is based on the publication of scientific and medical content led me to want to be part of it.
I am officially a health personnel so I would like to share clinical cases, processes and all the activities I perform in a clinical laboratory.
I am currently providing my services in a private clinic called "La Victoria" in the city of Maturin in the state of Monagas, Venezuela. I work 24 hours on call and I can tell you that it is really exhausting, most of the time I look like a zombie and when I have to wake up in the morning to come I wonder why I chose this career then when I arrive I start to perform my duties and I corroborate that it is something that I really like and I enjoy it.
These nice pictures were taken to make a video in commemoration of the Bioanalyst's Day in the Laboratory, which is celebrated in my country on April 25th of each year. In one of the pictures I am posing next to one of my great allies in the lab which is the Microscope and also the Mindray BC2600 Hematology Kit.
It is a really exhausting job, often frustrating, unfair but at the same time very rewarding.
Many times our patients and their families forget that despite having a white coat that characterizes us as health personnel we also get tired, we want to sleep, go to the bathroom and even eat. Unfortunately for us there are no good and bad days, we must always have the best disposition to attend our patients.
All medical work is very risky, especially if we are all the time in direct contact with contagious human and animal samples as well as contact with patients who are sick, there are many diseases that pose a danger to health personnel especially Covid19, we know that the World Health Organization (WHO) has already ended the pandemic but we know very well that every day more and more infected patients arrive.
Not only that, we are at constant risk of diseases such as hepatitis, HIV, skin and musculoskeletal injuries, exposure to radiation and annoying noises, exposure to gases, risk of punctures, cuts and many more so if you see a health worker be a little kinder and more grateful, you could also give him a coffee and a sweet.
