Be a True Believer

Let no man despise thy youth, but be thou an example of the believers, in word, conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12 KJV.

Don't let anyone think little of your because you are young. Be their ideal. Let them follow the way you teach be their ideal,

let them follow the way you teach and live, be a pattern for them in your love, your faith and your clean thoughts 1 Timothy 4:12 L B.

Paul was writing to Timothy his son in the lord to be an example of Believers in words and action.

There are many people in the church that are follow my words but not my actions. God wants our action to correspond with our words.

Every child of God is called to be a model for others to follow. It is very disheartening that today you can hardly differentiate those who say they are believes from unblievers.

There is a popular saying that mechanics of today may not allow you to differentiate the sane from the insane because they both look alike by the way they dress.

In other words, the church has gone into the world while the world has come into the church.

You can see a child of God but has nothing to show that he or she is a child of God. It is only by confession that you can call them children of God.

BE A BLIVER IN CHARACTER..
character is the way you believe as a person plus the person behind such behavior.

A person's character is his disposition, which has become his way of life or living.we must also know that character consists of the inborn natural and acquired habits.

A person's acquired habits are more influential than his inborn natural.

There is a popular saying that, show me your friends and I will tell you who you are. Another says, a goat that does not eat yam that followers those goat that eat yam will eventually follow them to eat yam.

This shows that character is very contagious, whether it positive or negative. Paul says in the book of first Corinthian 11 verse 1, be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ. KJV.

Paul want US to be example of those who have believed. He knows very well that people will emulate our character whether it is good or bad.

Paul was saying to that Corinthian church that anytime he becomes destitute of Christ"s character that they should stop following him we much be example of what we confess and preach.

Many people in the church today are betrayed by their character, which ought to be that I abide in you, then you shall bear fruits.

The amount of fruit you bear depends on the amount of Jesus in you, which
is the word of God. Matthew chapter 5 verses 14-16.

There are many people who say that they don't care what people say about them.

I look at this statement and compare it with what God says that man looks at the outward while God looks inside.

God did not say it is not all right for man to look at the outside but simply that God can see deeper than man can see.

We are the light that God has placed in this world to ward off darkness in the world. Men are looking to see the light of the gospel in us so that they will glorify God.

Are your works good or evil. People will see it and either glorify or dishonor God.

In your office as a child of God, do you shine that your colleagues may see Jesus Christ in you or are you compromise with tham to chest, lie and defraud your employer.

When you have compromise, how can you preaching the gospel of God to them knowing that you are like them.

The word of God says that the like will beget the like. Indeed you are a child of God. You will resemble him in words, in action, in conversation and in love.

Judging from your character, do you think that your character can win some body in your yard, compound, office, and family over to Christ or will they say if this is way of the born- agains Christian.

Let me remain the way I am. My brother and sister, don't be a stumbling block to those who want to follow Jesus because of your character. I pray Almighty God should help us.
