Hi! That is the lifeguard tower, I think we have two more, one on the other end of the Promenade and one on the Los Llanos Beach which is farther down on the right side of this tower about 800 meters.
Thank you for the reply. I am from Hungary, and I have not visited any other country so far. We do not have a sea. We have rivers and lakes, and I visited some of them, but I have not seen any similar towers at their shores so far.

I would love to stay in/around Spain for the same reason. It is (much) warmer in the winter.
