What an interesting post! I'm glad to see you are back! Did you have a good trip while being away?
And so South Africa has also made its mark with dr. Garden importing the "Cape Jasmin". That's great!
You need to check out the lemon or key lime in their citrus selection...
That reminds me of the lemon cookies my wife sometimes bakes for us. Oh my, I love them and cannot stop eating them. My wife often has fun by hiding them away from me...lol! But then I get a pleasant surprise the next day when I find that we still have some lemon cookies...😅!
Maybe this shop has steep prices for their cookies to cover expenses for all the free tasting samples they put out. However, reading your post, it seems like you get what you pay for in terms of quality! In that case, I don't mind spending some extra money.
You can find my post for this week here.
It's nice to have you back...and wow, it was really nice to see that "Dankie" at the bottom of your post!
Enjoy your weekend, @dswigle!
Gardenias are such a beautiful part of my landscape. The heavenly perfume is memorable. While some find it too strong, my plantings have them placed in such a way that they waft through the summer air, making my entire yard lovely.
We thank your country for that.
I agree that they need to cover their expenses and this is the best way. People would not want to pay for their samples and would not want to buy something they weren't sure they liked. I don't mind up spending either, especially when done this way. I am glad to be back!!!
Thank you for being such a great part of the challenge~!!
#MarketFriday loves you!!
I'm glad your Gardenias are providing you with so much joy! That's awesome.
I am grateful to be part of the challenge and I love to take part every week.
Apologies for the late reply though. My wife's niece arrived here from Johannesburg to visit us for a few days...so there is a lot of catching up taking place...and time is not exactly waiting for anybody...lol.
Enjoy your day, @dswigle!
