RE: Making Memories. Finding Treasures. (Market Friday)

I love seeing your childhood market treasures and this is a totally great post for Market Friday.

I liked to read as a child, but I didn't grow to LOVE it till after my teens. Of course I read the normal things you read through daily life and school, but not so much books. That all came later.

I love the copper plaque. A good life quest to follow.

Thank you @jacey.boldart. I have always loved to read, as far back as I can remember, and I am so grateful for this love that I have for books. I am so pleased that you find a great joy in reading too. What brought you to this love of yours after your teens? And that copper plaque...special indeed.

I don't really have an event or the such that changed. I guess during my childhood and teens, I just didn't sit down quietly that long to spend hours and hours in books. Sure I checked out library books all through school and the such and read them, but it just wasn't my focus or priority to do it. There was always some other fun waiting for me to run off and do ! After I left home though, one of my sisters that had many, many books shared hers with me and I guess I had slowed down a bit and found more time to stop and enjoy them. Still my reading patterns and choices have been eclectic along the way.

Fantastic! Oh, I hear you on childhood priorities lol. I also read quite diversely myself 😊. Long may the joy last for both of us!
