Hello dear friends, I am delighted to have found this community. It's great to know that other hivers use some of their "Fridays" to visit some markets looking for that special thing to take home.
Hola queridos amigos, me encanta haber encontrado esta comunidad. Es fabuloso saber que hay otros hivers que usan algunos de sus "viernes" para visitar algunos mercados buscando esa cosa especial para llevar a casa.
I usually use my Fridays to walk around or to do my grocery shopping. Since my passion is cooking, I am always on the lookout for stores that have different ingredients to prepare our recipes in my kitchen.
Grocery shopping for me is not part of the household routine. For me, food shopping is something I enjoy very much because I go to new places and I always find new ingredients.
Por lo general uso mis viernes para pasear o para realizar las compras de alimentos. Ya que mi pasión es cocinar, siempre ando en búsqueda de tiendas que tengan ingredientes diferentes para preparar nuesvas recetas en mi cocina.
Comprar alimentos para mí no es parte de la rutina del hogar. Para mi comprar alimentos es algo que disfruto mucho ya que acudo a lugares nuevos y siempre me encuentro con ingredientes novedosos.
There is a store that I had not visited, for that, today it was a pleasant surprise to do so. It is a large and spacious store. Here you find all kinds of foods. My favorite section was the spices section. I went crazy when I saw it hahaha. At home, I always like to have a lot of spices of all kinds. I feel that they are my best allies when I cook. The spices allow me to break the monotony. I can prepare chicken all week long, and my family doesn't get bored because the different spices transform it hahaha. That's why I love knowing that I have this store to stock my kitchen whenever I want a wide variety of spices. From what I could visualize in the store they are over 100 varieties, including baking ingredients.
Hay una tienda que no había visitado y hoy fue una grata sorpresa hacerlo. Es una tienda muy grande y espacios. A quí encuentras alimentos de todo tipo. Mi sección favorita fue la de las especias, realmente al verla enloquecí jajaja. En casa siempre me gusta tener muchas espcias de todo tipo, siento que son mis mejores aliadas a la hora de cocinar y me prmiten romper la monotonía. Puedo preparar pollo toda la semana y mi familia no se aburre ya que las diferentes especias lo transforman jajaja. Por eso me encanta saber que tengo esta tienda para surtir mi cocina cada vez que quiera de una gran variedad de especias. Por lo que alcancé a visualizar tienen más de 100 variedades incluyendo ingredientes para repostería.
Another fabulous section I found in this market was the Asian ingredients section which is very well stocked. Besides having the typical sauces that are the basis of flavor in Chinese food, I found some noodles that my family loves. They are noodles made from soybeans. Its texture when cooked is firmer than those made with rice, and it is a good option for people intolerant to gluten since they do not contain it.
Otra de sus fabulosas secciones que encontré en este mercado fue la de ingredientes asiáticos la cual está muy bien surtida. Además de tener las típicas salsas que son la base de sabor en la comida china, encontré unos fideos que les encanta a mi familia. Se tratan de unos fideos hechos del grano de soya. Su textura al cocinarlos es más firme que los elaborados con arroz y es una buena opción para personas intolerantes al gluten, ya que no lo contienen.
Once I did my shopping, as soon as I got home I started preparing these delicious noodles. I love to sauté meat with vegetables and then mix it with the noodles. To get all the flavors to come together, I add an oyster sauce-based sauce so the noodles stay juicy and can be served with cooked white rice. A bit of a strange combination? hehehe, yes, but in China, most of the juicy stews with noodles are served with white rice, as they say over their things that only the Chinese understand.
Una vez realizada mis compras, apenas llegué a casa comencé a preparar estos deliciosos fideos. Me encanta saltear carne con vegetales y luego mezclarlo con los fideos. Para lograr que se imprengnen bien todos los sabores le agrego una salsa a base de salsa de ostra así los fideos quedan jugosos y al servirlos pueden comerse acompañados con arroz blanco cocido. Una combinación un poco extraña? Jejeje, pues sí, pero en china la mayoría de los guisados jugosos así tengan fideos se acompañan con arroz blanco, como dicen por allí cosas que los chinos solo comprenden.
