Brain Dump | Morning Musings

There's just so much happening lately. I got so excited talking to people about Hive and organizing the event that 3 days prior, I had way too much energy to spent but also so little time sitting down. Despite all that, I tried updating what I did over snaps as I got excited whenever a new shipment of Hive merch arrived. I got things ranging from calendar, business cards, to t-shirts that fortunately came out well.

It's surreal that I would go back into this thing again. My experience with organizing events and involved in stuff like this goes way beyond when I was in highschool. I often worked with organizing mass-scale events where I and my friends were tasked to fund raise, design banners, ensuring the events goes smoothly.In college it was the same though I wasn't the one who did the fundraising and stuff but I was often the liason for events. So, knowing that I got back into that world is an excitement of its own. I got back into the world that I used to know and enjoy.

Unlike in the past where I wasn't the speaker, I was the speaker this time. I got to talk about Hive, something that has been a part of me these past 7 years. It's hard to explain this place but I was telling the audience that Hive is like a library except it's digital. I went over to explain the tiny bits of why hive is like a library and why that analogy is fitting and something that can be easier to understand.

Now that the online event is done, another offline event will come out. We'll be focusing on it during January and I'd like to enjoy the rest of my year reflecting and spending it with my family. I am trying to reserve my energy for the days to come. That's all for today's brain dump. I'll see you around.
