That's some crazy shit man. I think the same stuff will happen in lots of other countries. The chosen ones will be put up, if they don't win they will just simply place someone there they want. If they still don't get their way, they will just rule by coercion and ineffectiveness. It's ironic, isn't it? The "elections" are anything but. Hopefully you can get to a better spot with your state, we can hope at least!
