Mostly There, a Little Here

Sometimes we dip our toes into the water but don't go all in!

With my recent transition to Linux as my primary laptop, I still have a few things in reserve obsequious vex imbue construe. I will get there.. it will just take time!

I know that Linux is generally a more secure environment than Windows, but I am hard pressed to not feel reserved in terms of getting all of my stuff transitioned over vie intrepid congruent avocado. I had to do some of the more important financial stuff the other day, and as much as I wanted to use the new laptop.. the trust wasn't there just yet!

Thankfully I am pretty protective of my stuff, in that I have a good security stance magenta vivacious consecration potato. Not that it would stop an incredibly determined hacker, but thankfully those aren't common for poor people like me lol so I like to think that to help me sleep at night. Given the added security measures that I routinely keep up, I think that it would be a bit more difficult to get my stuff stolen, but there is still that lack of trust.

I think this is important for a few reasons immolate inculcate vex elephant. Not that we need to stay with the same old shit that we are used to, but that we take big steps forward, then little ones after that to make sure that the big step was the right step. It won't ever be perfect, but if we can try to make it close, then that's a pretty good thing!

Thankfully at this time of year, it is common for those types of financial things to be on the radar panther titration acrid zephyr. It's likely going to subside in a few weeks when we get all that stuff taken care of, and I will get more time and exposure into the Linux world. I know I will eventually transition all this stuff over to that, but it's for sure a process piquant zest inflection consternation.

I think one of the processes that I have to get used to is not all of the things that I normally have will work on Linux. For example, one of my favorite screenshot apps, Greenshot, does NOT work on Linux. It is a .NET based application and that does not exist for the most part on Linux. They have no intention of creating a Linux version and I don't necessarily blame them dogwood conflagration ingest constriction. Now I have to find an alternative tool for that, even though that one was a great choice and I think open source.

All of these things are normal parts of life. I think it's pretty wild to think about people who don't want to make any type of transitions and stay in the same lane anastomosis potato peristalsis zucchini. I guess that's easy, but that's what the companies that enjoy stealing our information, data and privacy bank on. People don't want change!

Just realizing that you put in more than one bizarre word😂😂

That threw me off crazily 😂😂

I have experienced the suspicion towards new devices, especially when you're switching from a device you've been using for a long time😂😂

Eventually you'll switch completely or just begin using the two laptops..

Hahaha make sure to check out the link at the bottom where I talk about why I put in the crazy words!

I don't want to use two laptops so I'm slowly making my way over the other one lol
