My misadventure chronicle: from fun to fever

We learn everyday so they say; i never thought deep about that sentence until it came to me in an unexpected aftermath; never in my life will I think that I will learn about what actually happened, it was around the the end of the year, and its been few months i had a fun hangout with my friends, so we decided to go out to ease all of our stress and have fun at the same time since we all are in our building and growing up phase.

We got to our location and we decided on paintball game and then swimming after since it's sunny and we all wanted to flaunt our summer bodies, you know how it is, after the paintball game we moved to the pool and just dive in without really asking if it was drained or cleaned before our arrival, we did our thing, talked and joked and most importantly had fun together and went back home with the fulfillment of having fun again like we used to, little did I know that it was the beginning of a serious problem and a new knowledge for me.

Few weeks after our hangout I started feeling sick internally, it got to an unbearable point for me that I had to go to a nearby hospital for check up, I got there, they got my samples and they conducted several test, to be very honest I got really anxious cause it took few hours before the results was out

The conclusion of the result was that I had urinary tract infection from the pool which made sense due to our mistake of not making enquiry before getting in. I was treated and giving some medications which was for few days and I was better again. Exactly 2weeks after my recent illness, I fell sick again but these time I decided to save my money and strength by just calling an auxiliary nurse who only asked me the symptoms am having and concluded it was typhoid without any test and she said I needed to collect few drips and injections which I did, once again I was feeling much better again

However, the drugs and treatment I had from both the nurse and the first hospital were just formalities, I needed a proper treatment cause a reoccurrence happened again and these time it was more serious than the previous ones. I had difficulty breathing, standing upright, urinating, or digesting the little I ate. I was in so much discomfort, at some point I was repenting all of my sins it felt like my world was flashing before me. These time around I was rushed to a bigger hospital by my siblings, and again I went through test and the doctor found out that the infection I had from the pool was resistance to the drugs and treatment I had before and it was said to have spread to both of my kidneys which is causing me pains.
Firstly I never heard of being infected from the pool or that an infection can spread to the other part of the organs; see why I said we learn on a daily basis.

After a lot of treatments and few days in the hospital God intervened and i was able to recover and since then anytime I was asked to partake in fun activities that involves swimming, i find it really difficult due to my previous predicaments and what I encounter. I don't know if I will ever be willing to join a swimming activity again and if I actually want to It probably in my private home pool where am sure I can monitor the activities and if it might have been contaminated.

Happy weekend beautiful people 😄

hmm, maybe this pointed you in the right direction. often we can only understand these things later.

there is a myriad of things you can do yourself to help your body with afflictions. MMS being my favorite. it is well worth studying up on it (not from mainstream sources).

natural remedies also exist

i hope you can find a way to not live in fear now, and to always trust your intuition when it says dont go into the water

I sure will, at least an aware now so I know when and when not to

I think we should also be careful never to pee in a pool! It’s gross anyway but I think it’s also an important idea to wash off in a shower after getting out of a pool that way you can clean yourself. A pool is sadly often filled with strong chemicals so it’s good to wash off after them.

I agree cause who knows all other toxins in there
