Too early and too late

I hate my life, so you know it's Tuesday. It seems like every trip to the office feels worse than the previous.

I try to get to work as soon as early as I can but for some reason, I always fall short of my target. Today is no different from every other attempt and while I'm not late to work, I'm not quite as early as I want to be.

Having my own mode of transportation would solve the problem but my options are limited. I can't afford a car that comes with regular insurance cost, so that's out of the question. Bicycles are a lot of stress and ebikes are just too expensive for the accompanying stress if riding.

I considered getting an e-scooter but it turns out they're on the grey side of the law. They're not entire legal but also not against the law. I mean, I think they're banned but the law banning it doesn't seem to be aggressively enforced because I've never seen anyone get arrested for using them even when they ride pass police.

There are collapsible e-scooters that I could get but since they're sort of prohibited, you can't take them on trains. Now I know the UK is relatively safe but I think it'll be tempting fate to park my scooter at the Nottingham train station while I'm in Leicester.

The moral of the story is that I hate Tuesdays and nights matter how I try to be extra early for work, I simply can't make it because of the bus and train schedule. I could have gotten 30 minutes more sleep, instead I'm too late for the early train and too early for the "on time" train.
