This is so heartbreaking to hear. Went there in 2016 and there were a lot of tourist at the time and plenty of stores in the sidewalk. I hope everything will goes back to normal.

Yeah, everything changes after the pandemic. The tourism sector in the island is still trying to recover. Hopefully with the border re-opening they can make more money. It was really sad and I want to go there more often now.
