How To Make Vegetable Fried Rice Recipe
This veg fried rice recipe is aromatic, delicious and flavourful. Skip the wait for take-out, and make this vegetable stir fried rice instead. This vegetable fried rice recipe can be altered to your personal preference by adding different vegetables.
Ingredients:
200g Rice
1 litre Water
1 tsp Oil
1 tsp Salt
2 tbsp Oil
1 Red Onion
2 Green Chillies
1 Red Pepper
1 Green Pepper
50g Frozen Peas
1 tsp Garlic Paste
1 Carrot
1 tbsp Dark Soy sauce
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Tomato Puree
Method:
- In a large bowl, add rice and leave to soak for at least 30 minutes
- In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil
- Add salt, oil and soaked rice before cooking for 10 minutes
- Drain and rinse rice with cold water and set aside
- In another pan, heat up the oil
- Add the red onion, green chillies, garlic paste, red pepper and green pepper
- Sauté for a few minutes
- Add frozen peas, salt, pepper, soy sauce and tomato puree
- Cook for 5 minutes before adding the rice
- Mix gently to incorporate the rice into the mixture without breaking it
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
