Music Through The Ages:-Traditional, Modern and Old-school Jam.

I still have some cool old school music I listened to because of their rich meanings and how they remind me of those days when we were younger. Some of the traditional songs was sang into our ears and now hard to get them out of our head. I'm still much interested in some of the old school songs and their patterns, I feel most of the past songs have more rich meanings than the recent songs some of our wack artistes are generating here and there.

Despite all the attempts to ridicule the efforts of talented artistes who are up and doing to produce good music for our society today, there are some very good new school music that is thriving and resonates deeply, they've actually modernized the recent music and gave it more pleasant touches that captures our heart, with so much creativity to talk about. The real effect of technology can also be felt in our music industries as well. If you do your comparison very well you'll notice the huge gab specially in the instrumentation between the old and new music. Special instruments have evolved and still evolving, making our recent music spectacular. I wonder if music like the EDM kind of music existed back in the days..lol

I vibe to new songs very well but there are some traditional songs that hits differently, their soulful meanings draws attention and reignites those positive feeling that comes with listening to them. Some of the old school music reminds us of some sweet and perfect experiences of the past. Bongo Ekuwe "Searching for True love" reminds me of my Dad and how much he was so into the lyrics of the song as if he was some type of lover boy-that's how the traditional music is for some people too, they tend to bring back some awesome memories as well. Most of these songs are built under many histories and theologies, some of the traditional songs are extremely spiritual and of high value and reference to some sort of believes.

If I were to make a choice between the traditional music and the modern school music, I will say the new school music beats the traditional music with allot of skillful attachments and instrumentations. The modern music is segregated into different mind-blowing genres with beautiful settings and quality sound production. The modern music for sure has surpassed allot of down lines of the traditional songs but the traditional songs still holds a special place in my heart. There are instances where the traditional songs fits best and can't be override by the recent music. Some wedding ceremonies are strictly cultural and the traditional songs holds the environment more tight than the recent or modern songs.

Modern music undeniably evolved from the old and traditional music and still birthing talents and creativity harnessing them together to make our music world more interesting.. it's good to see allot of artistes put in efforts to make good music nowadays, it feels good to also see some high calibers of music groups like the choral, regimented marching band, church band and so many contributing immensely to the development of our musical world today. Certainly the love for music will continue to thrive for sure..
