Music: The Soul’s Healing Balm

A world without music? To me, it sounds like having a meal without salt in it. I try to imagine our world without music, and all I perceive is dryness, emptiness, loneliness. Why? Because music is powerful, it is beyond words! And can be used for different purposes, making our lives better. How powerful music is to the point of healing a wondering soul, brining joy and fulfillment to humans. Obviously, the world would be different without music because, indeed, music is life.

Music has been in existence for many decades and has been part of our lives. If to say the world never experienced the power of music, then it would be easier to live without music and we wouldn't feel the impact of our world without music, but then, we have been with music for decades and have been experiencing the nice impact around our world.

Let's imagine celebrating a milestone without melodies. How boring it can be. Let's imagine a wedding ceremony without interludes, dances, and songs to uplift people's spirits. Even in our different cultures, there are songs to suit different events and make everywhere lively. Both adults and children have experienced the impacts of music positively in different instances. This makes it difficult to imagine a world where music wouldn't thrive.

When we think about cultural and social bonding, think music. When we think of ways to spice up learning, think music and how it's a great tool to assist in learning in the educational sector. In our busy world where stress is inevitable, music has been a lifesaver. Music has been an instrument to boost our mode for good amidst life's chaos.

Personally, music has been a source of inspiration and healing and has become part of my life. In my low moment, carefully listening to some lyrics of a song with deeper reflection changes my situation for good. Music brings happiness and joy, and staying without music would be a total different, odd experience. I remember the time I faced depression and how music was a therapy to revive my dying soul. I am sure that it does the same to many people in our world today.

Our world needs music to keep thriving and giving us a meaningful connection regardless of our different cultures. A world without music will attract the kind of silence that wouldn't be too nice to tolerate. Music has been a gift that impacts human lives positively, and it's quite difficult to imagine a boring and dull world. Let's continue to embrace this gift, enjoying the melodies, the tunes, the dance, the instruments, and the interludes that bring joy to humanity.
