There are a variety of songs being produced by artist that not only resonate with your life experiences but also has a connection with a persons emotions and beliefs. People fall back to music as a means of reconnection to who they really are, want to be or feel. I am talking about musics whose lyrics are filled with words that connects with the soul not the ones that have to do with ass, boobs, and money. Great artists are talented with using their songs to touch an emotional part of a mind's existence, there is always a song for people who are feeling down, loved, lost, depressed, betrayed, admired, inspiration and so on.

Some songs are so well written that it leaves the individual with a deep reflection on the journey of life. These types of song will bring about self-discovery and emotional processing as they would lead a person to reflect on life's purpose and their experiences in general. Building with music as the listener tends to resonate feeling and deep thoughts, just like when a person is going through a break up with a romantic partner, they fall back to music as a source of compensation or healing. There are artists that sing love songs that helps to heal from within.

We have different songs for different occasions, hence it is not difficult to find a particular song that resonates with you and life experiences. In terms of meditation, creating a Playlist that is solemn and is laced with words that can help to deepen your reflection and meditation practices. Even when you are trying to make meaning our of life, songs could be of help.

Songs can boost a persons energy and make them do even more than is expected. Like when cleaning the house or doing chores, hip hop or afrobeats can be a great tune to help elevate energy, sometimes the song gets too interesting that we forget our duties and end up dancing. I remember one time, I had a low energy, my environment was given me some bad vibes and I was restless, I decided to spice it up by blasting naija afrobeats from a Bluetooth speaker and the rest was history.

Music can build up one's spirit physically, emotionally and even spiritually, just find the right music that flows with your mood and countenance.
