MY IDEAL MOVIE
Being a lover of music, I certainly love musical movies. As a matter of fact, movies like dream high, lion king and sound of music are certainly some of my favourite. That notwithstanding, I do not fancy movies that are unnecessarily and excessively musical. Just like I have stated above, I am a fan of modesty. If a movie with no musical title becomes more music that a supposed musical movie, then there is certainly a problem with that movie. It is certainly a no for me. On the other hand, music as it is in a movie most align with the theme of the movie. Thus, the use of music must neither be excessive nor unnecessary. If any of these be the case, then the movie is certainly not for me. It is better not musical but interesting than unnecessarily musical.
SOME BENEFITS OF MUSIC IN MOVIES
Among the many things that music does in a movie, the fact that it creates a connection between the audience and the movie is probably most prominent. It evokes emotions in the audience and transmit what is being felt in a movie into his or her reality. As a result of the empathetic feelings that it evokes, an audience might be forced to feel remorse, happy, sad or even angry.
To a large extent, music also tell stories in good movies. A movie can be good to the extent that one can already imagine the scene of the moment just by hearing the music that is being played. In some cases, music can even expose the nature of a character, so much so that an audience can understand even without setting his or her eye on the screen. Music also have a way of revealing what is to come in some movies. It is the case that one can presume the next action in a movie just by hearing the music that is being played. In some cases too, there are music that are peculiar to a particular movie or TV show. By hearing these music, one is already aware of the fact that a particular movie is at hand.
CONCLUSION
If there ever be anything that could take the place of music in my life, it would be movies. Nevertheless, music will never stop being that which I love doing the most. I certainly will enjoy a musical movie the most, it is like the combination of my two most favourite. On the other hand, I dislike movies that misuse music. If I may opine, a good movie must not overuse or misuse music. It does not matter how much music that is being used in a movie, all that matters is whether music is used right or not.
