It can Only Get Better

Greetings my people!

Music can be anything to anyone, but to me, music is life. It's an integral part of my being, a universal language that goes beyond words and emotions. Music has been my solace at some crucial points in my life. It's been my comfort, and what passionate about. Music is more than art to me. When I sing, it's an expression of my deepest feelings, a way to convey my emotions that words alone cannot capture. When I listen, music offers me consolation, encouragement, or inspiration, depending on the lyrics.

Over time, I've been fortunate to have had various musical experiences that have shaped me into the level I am today. It all began when I joined the choir at my church as a teenager. Those early years of singing with the choir taught me the value of teamwork, discipline, and practice.

As I grew older, my passion for music only intensified, leading me to join a local live band as a backup singer. In 2024, I took my musical journey to the next level by taking music lessons. This experience not only helped me improve my vocal technique but also deepened my understanding of music theory and appreciation.

Now, as I step into 2025, I'm more determined than ever to continue upgrading my musical skills. I have outlined several key activities to help me achieve my goals. First and foremost, I plan to establish a regular practice routine. I firmly believe that practice makes perfect, and by dedicating time each day for rehearsal, I will be able to identify areas of weakness and strength, track my progress, and refine my skills. I also hope to be practicing with some of my friends that are vast in musical knowledge in order to learn from them as well.

Another crucial activity highlighted d will be recording myself. This will enable me to critically evaluate my performances, identify areas for improvement, and develop a more nuanced understanding of my own voice. In addition to regular practice, I'm also committed to exploring more music genres and see how various artist flourish in their genres while attending live concerts more. I believe that exposure to different styles and artists will not only broaden my musical knowledge but also inspire me to experiment with new sounds and techniques. Lastly, I've set my sights on learning a new instrument. While singing will always be my first love, I'm excited to explore the world of instrumental music and discover new ways to express myself creatively. Though I have started learning how to play piano in 2024, I want to learn how to play notes and know more. In addition to piano, I want to learn how to play guitar and violin.

I will also participate more on platforms like Afri-tunes on hive that give opportunities to music enthusiast to perform their desired song and genre on weekly basis. This will make me put my best and improve faster, knowing that the song will be available for many people globally to view and listen to.
As I embark on this new chapter in my musical journey in 2025, I'm filled with excitement, anticipation, with a deep sense of readiness to explore in the world of music. It has been a constant source of joy and inspiration in my life, and I'm eager to see where this passion will take me in years to come.
