Tangerine Dream - San Rafael '71

The origin of the Tangerine Dream is a mix between the G13, Afghani and Neville's A5 Haze. Depending on the source, it's a 50/50 indica-sativa or even an indica dominant. But it's sold like a sativa dominant.

San Rafael '71 trademark is the seventies. On the price point, they're in the high middle. The THC concentration is between 11-18%. I smoke like 0,25g, so I consumed between 16,6 mg - 27 mg of THC.

Apparence

Sorry for that point, I bought pre rolled. With flowers you generally have to buy 3.5 g, with pre rolled you can buy less. I don't smoke a lot and I like some varieties.

Smell

You can smell the agrume. I found a cheese odor too. Once it was light, I didn't smell a particular smell.

Taste

You can taste the agrume, it's light, but it's there.

Effect

Rapidly, I got a visual buzz. My peripheral vision was blurry and I got a pulsating effect. It was very interesting the look at things with that effect. It must have the branding messy with my head, but I felt like in the seventies and I was cool. I was seeing myself with long hair and a beard : I had the impression that I was the stoner from That's 70's Show.

The sound was interesting. I was listening to crickets and the sounds weren't the same depending on how I was positioning my head. I felt that I was able to tell when a new cricket was starting and when one was stopping. One of my neighbours was listening to music and a drum solo came by and I was like : nothing is more seventies than a drum solo... Still makes sense.

Euphoria was really present. I was chatting with my wife and everything was funny. We were laughing about the construction noise that another neighbour was making. I was happy and smiling, it was easy and I was seeing things differently. Nothing life changing, but I was refreshing.

I did some lego with my wife. At one point, I just felt like I needed to fall at slow motion on the table yelling : 'nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnoooooooooooooooooooooooo'. I still find it funny, but my wife was sober and judging me. The jury is still out, but it was funny, don't listen to my wife.

I got a light bodybuzz with some heat in my muscles and tension. That was fun.

Some said that Tangerine Dream can become a couch lock if you take too much : I can find that to be true, so don't take too much if you want to stay active.

Conclusion

Tangerine Dream can be a good party, concert or get together with friend weed : sound gets very interesting, conservation gets hilarious and your take on reality is slightly different. So if you are looking for a great joint to pass around at a festival or stadium show, I recommend it
