The Fog OG autoflowering cannabis plant has two more weeks until harvest, the Pineapple Express has five weeks remaining. The Apricot Kush turned out to be male, the Durban Violette has been brought back indoors to be put back into bloom.

Fog OG auto

The Fog OG autoflowering cannabis plant has had eight weeks of growth, two more weeks until harvest.

Autoflowering strains take ten weeks of total growth before harvest, they have polar region genetics suited for long days and short seasons.

This Fog OG auto was showing signs of bloom by the fourth week of growth. Many more pistils have filled in, the buds have been thickening, and the tips of of the pistils are turning red.

Pineapple Express bloom

The Pineapple Express plant has had five weeks of bloom time. The buds were looking dainty at first, but they've started to thicken this past week.

One major cola, and a handfull of smaller ones - the buds have a sweet dank pineapple scent.

Most of the large fan leaves yellowed and fell off, healthy bright lime green leaves remain.

The buds are growing together to form colas, and there's a solid coating of THC trichomes - five more weeks until harvest.

Apricot Kush pollen

This Apricot Kush plant was almost at six weeks of vegetative growth before I put it into the bloom tent last week. The night before putting it into bloom I gave it one last tie-down stem training to promote robust branch upward growth.

With twelve hours of red wave bloom light followed by twelve hours of dark - after a week into bloom the Apricot Kush plant has turned out to be a pollen producing male, there will be no buds from this plant..

You can see the little flower starting to form at the top of the stalk. I'll make the best of it and collect the pollen for cross strain cannabis breeding.

I've trimmed down the plant to just the main stalk so that the pollen is easier to manage. I'll isolate the plant soon, in about a week the flowers will open and I'll collect some of the pollen.

Durban Violette

Eleven weeks of growth from seed for the Durban Violette indica leaner. Started indoors, but then moved out to the green house. It had started to bloom a few weeks ago, but then it seems to have gone back to veg and stalled now that the days have grown longer with summer approaching.

I've decided to bring it back inside and bathe it in red spectrum grow lighting for twelve hours a day to force it back into bloom mode.

This Durban Violette just barely fit into the grow tent with just enough headroom between the plant and the lights. I'm assuming the plant already bolted and stretched up to it's max height already, but I'll have to wait and see. I'll have to wait for more bud growth, but it's looking it will be ten weeks until harvest.
