First Steps of the Journey

Hi Folks,

Hope everyones keeping well, Man, it has been a crazy week but its over and I have time to give a quick update on my current purple lemonade auto grow. So as a quick catch up....

Last time on Jaybobs grow, our little plant Medusa had broken the soil and started to develop her 1st sets of fan leaves, it wasn't all plain sailing, she was flimsy in the stem and her leaves appeared to grow a bit deformed. All in all she wasn't looking great.

I kept a close eye on her and discovered what may be the cause of the strange flimsyness, it appears the tap root got turned around and came out the top of the peat pellet to get to the soil instead of just growing through it, weird but its sorted itself out and is now rooting away like a champ.

The abnormalities in the leaves is probably just a weird mutation or a knock on effect from the main tap root taking the scenic route to the dirt.

I still havent hit her with any nutes yets only RO'd ph'd water all week, her stem really started to strengthen mid week (as the roots took hold) and well you can see the change in her, the leaves that where yellow and shriveled down one side filled out nicely, its not symmetrical but it looks healthy enough.

Autos are hard to kill. Im like Dr Deaththumb lmao, medusa in particular, nothings gone right for her and she just keeps on keepin on, it's impressive.

And thats it for this week, pretty boring but stay tuned because we got plans next week, yessir. right after I post this its time for medusa's date with destiny, she's getting topped, off with her head! so next weeks update could be a post mortem, and will be the plant lovers equivalent to a Saw movie. Sorry, not sorry, its for science, it'll settle the age old debate of to top or not to top autos.

And its time to start juicing her up like a russian olympian (with nutes, not steroids)
