It's amazing that with so many countries having cannabis integrated into their medical system with proven results there are many people that want to remain blind to it's benefits. It seems as though for many of the States it will take the Federal government lifting the ban on cannabis to sway some of the opposition to legalization.

A new push in Tennessee to legalize medicinal cannabis after the previous failed attempt. The main argument from County Sheriffs, the house speaker and the lieutenant Gov is that cannabis is still federally illegal. An Alabama law maker that used to be anti cannabis speaks with Sheriffs about their concerns, the Conservative Republican Senator Janice Bowling has brought back this bill after her mind being changed by the out pouring of voters.

WJTV talks to local Mississippi health doctor about medical cannabis and a new amendment would legalize cannabis in Mississippi for a broad range of ailments. The local doctor has talked with medical professionals from other states that have legalized medical cannabis and they have said that it has helped bring relief to many people. Medical cannabis can help with conditions such as epilepsy, bi-polar, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more. The opposition is worried cannabis would be abused, the local doctor explains that a wide range of medical prescriptions drugs are abused every day and that they have their set of side effects as well that need to be weighed.
