Friends, in today's news order, I tell you that on June 7, Bon Jovi (one of my favorite bands these days) released their sixteenth studio album, which they called "Forever." By the way, this work coincides with the band's 40th anniversary, a very important date. That's why I think this album is more special than the others. Of course, that doesn't mean that the previous works are less, but what makes this latest album more special is the date it commemorates.
I tell you that Jon Bon Jovi, leader of the band, described the new album in a recent interview on social media as "a return to the essence of the band." In his words, "Forever" focuses on a composition and recording that captures the energy and characteristic style of Bon Jovi. The album contains 12 songs, including songs like "Living Proof," which reflects on the evolution of the band since its beginnings in New Jersey.
Other standout tracks from the album include "We Made It Look Easy," "Waves," "Seeds," and "My First Guitar." Each song brings its own rock twist, with production by John Shanks and Jon Bon Jovi. This collaboration sought to celebrate the band's history, offering a union (you could say) of nostalgia and renewal. Personally, I loved how they did it, I feel it's a perfect fit to celebrate the new anniversary.
On the other hand, in addition to the release of the album, Jon Bon Jovi has been named MusiCares Person of the Year 2024. This recognition was celebrated with a concert in Los Angeles, which featured artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Shania Twain, and Melissa Etheridge. Be careful with the latter, who can be confused with Melissa, the one who plays the carol in the walking dead, haha, it happened to me, so that's why I'm letting you know. Although of course it would have been great if she had gone too.
Also to complement these celebrations, Bon Jovi released a four-part documentary series on Hulu, titled "Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story," the series tells the story of the band from humble beginnings to the fame we all know today.

Buying New Cards In Rising Star.
Friends, my favorite part of the day has arrived: showing you the latest acquisitions I made in our beloved game Rising Star. This time, I added 3 new cards to my collection. Some I bought simply because I liked them and they were inexpensive, while others I chose for their specific characteristics. Without further ado, here are my new cards.
Well, my friends, the first card I bought just this morning was R188 Nytehawker. This card, as you can see, belongs to the rare cards section. I bought it because I consider that it offers a good quality-price ratio with the features it offers. The first thing it gives me is about 125 fans, which is great to continue increasing the ones I have so far. For the skill part it gives me a total of 75, which is also good to keep my ego in check. For the IM part it gives me 3 points and for the Luck part: 3.
Now, as you may recall, I told you that this card offers good value for money, well, that’s thanks to its price. It cost me 9350 starbits on the in-game market, which isn’t bad considering everything the card offers. I might buy a few more of this one. The quote on this card is: “When he’s playing with fire and burning pizza, it’s going to be a long night under the sky with this Rising Star”.
The next card I bought is called 115 Carl. Unlike the previous one, this is a common card. Among the things it gives me are 10 fans, compared to the 10 of the previous one, which is a big difference. As for the skills it gives me, there are 10 in total. As you can see, this card offers a perfect combination of skill and fan, which makes it very good for raising fans at a low price, because at the same time that you raise fans you also raise skills in equal amounts, which in the long run will help you a lot with your ego.
If you want to know the price, this card cost me 900 starbits. Like the previous one, it is a pretty affordable option. I definitely recommend it for those looking to increase their skill base. It is also much cheaper than the previous one. The custom phrase on this card is: They Call him “Mr. Nicey” and he likes it nice n spicy. Yes carl likes a Phall.
The last card I bought today is called 120 Danny. This card is a common card. This card brings me about 10 fans. The price of the card is 742 starbits, which makes it the cheapest card of the day in this post. The tagline of this card is: “Trying to get back home after being starnded at the drive in”.
