in Rising Star Game22 hours ago

Good afternoon to all my dear friends of Hive, I hope you are all very well. In my case today is a rainy day and couldn't even leave the house haha. Don't think I dislike that though, in fact everyone in my locality loves the rain. I say that because we have been through a period of drought and the arrival of rain will allow us to plant new crops and other produce. So it is welcome.

Friends on this day I am back with all of you as usual to continue sharing with you about 2 topics that we all love in this beautiful community of Rising Star. First of all I will talk to you about music, in this case a music news, after that I will also show you the daily chart recommendation table. As always I remind you that each one is the most profitable in its category. That if, always check the price, because if you read this post too late may be that the card has already been sold. With this clarified we can start.

Colleagues in today's news I want to talk to you about a very well known musical theme, but today it has an interesting date. I'm talking about Faded, my favorite Alan Walker song. This song is my favorite in several ways, first of all it is the one I like the most of all Walker's catalog, it is also the one I like the most of all electronic music in general. So as you may notice I have a good appreciation for this song. Well, I'm going to ask you the news in the form of a question, did you know that today is exactly 8 years, 10 months and 9 days since this song came out? I'm sure you didn't haha.

The song is already looking for its 9 years, the truth is quite a lot. Time has gone by fast. This is where we all realize that we are a little old haha. I don't know if it happens to you, but there are songs that never go away completely, not even with time. In my case I have never forgotten this song since day 1 when I could listen to it. In fact I didn't listen to it in the same year of release, which was in 2015, I came to listen to it 2 years later, in 2017. I know I practically lived under a rock all that time.

For those of you who don't know it (although I doubt it, because, come on, who hasn't heard “Faded” by now?). Although I justify them because I was a case. Well for the newbies it's a song by Alan Walker, a DJ who basically exploded into the music world with this track in December 2015. Since then it hasn't stopped playing everywhere. In fact in my case I've listened to it ad nauseum haha. It is that many youtube videos put this song in the background of their videos. In fact thanks to one of these videos I got to know the song.

Those of us who have listened to it surely agree that we all have felt “faded” at some point in our lives, kind of lost, right? And that's kind of the magic of the song, its lyrics speak of searching, of something or someone that has vanished, that is no longer there, and that feeling is something that, honestly, we can all connect with in one way or another.

Let's see, I'm not a music critic, far from it, but I can tell you that the atmosphere of this song has always caught me. It's... how shall I put it? Melancholic, yes, but also kind of mysterious, as if it transports you to another place. Iselin Solheim, the singer who voices it, has a tone that sometimes makes me feel like I'm floating somewhere far away.... Ok, I know, it sounds weird, but it's true. I don't know if you've ever had that feeling when listening to her. Something like you get into your own world for a few minutes and you forget about everything. It's something difficult to explain.

I think what makes this song still special is that it was part of a time of change in electronic music, where DJs were starting to experiment more with softer sounds, less aggressive, but just as deep. It's not one of those tracks that blows your head off with an aggressive beat, but something more intimate, more... introspective? I don't know if that's the right word, but you know what I mean. It's more like a melody that envelops you and leaves you in a state of? nostalgic? Maybe that's the word. I feel it has that vibe of looking for something you lost, but without knowing very well what it is.

If I get a bit philosophical, and you know that sometimes I do, I think that “Faded” reflects a bit what many people feel in this crazy world we live in. There are moments when you feel lost, aimless, as if time is passing by and you're just... there, as a spectator. I think that's one of the reasons why the song has lasted so long. And look, it's been almost 9 years since its release, but it's still just as relevant. There's something about it that never gets old, don't you think? I definitely think it's its message.

Plus, the lyrics aren't complicated, nor do they need to be. Sometimes, less is more. The phrase “Where are you now?” repeated so many times? It's simple, but profound in the sense of what I was saying before, its message. Sometimes, what we are looking for is not something so complex, but rather a feeling, a person, or even a mental place where we used to feel comfortable.

On the other hand, I've noticed that Alan Walker's music has evolved a lot since “Faded”. And it's interesting to see how he's experimented with other styles, but I think this song tops them all. Something similar has happened to me with other songs by other singers, I always end up having a favorite that is hard to beat even by the singer himself. Well my dear friends with this we close the music news and now let's see today's chart recommendations.
