Good evening everyone!

In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Also, I will include the statistics I collect daily from Rising Star to keep you informed.

After I finished going through the hundred songs provided by Spotify that I listened to the most in the last year, I have thought of adding songs of my choice from my "Like" list that has more than 1000 songs. The last song I talked about in my last post was: The Next Episode: Dr Dre & Snopp Dogg

Juicy: The Notorious B.I.G

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Juicy of the norteamerican rapper The Notorious B.I.G. I can assure you that if you make a poll of the best known rappers in North America, Notorious B.I.G. would be in the top 5. His legend began to grow even more after his rivalry with another legendary rapper, Tupac Shakur. That rivalry, unfortunately, ended with the life of both of them in a gang fight. In my case, I have heard B.I.G. for the first time with the song “Juicy” which I will be talking about today, which in my opinion is the best song that this artist gave birth to.

The Notorious B.I.G. was one of the most influential rappers in hip-hop history. He was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1972 and rose to fame in the 1990s. The song that brought him success is “Juicy”, a debut single from 1994, which was part of his album “Ready To Die”. The melody used in the song is a sample of the song “Juicy Fruit” by the American group Mtume. The success of this song, managed to position the song in position number 27 of the U.S Billboard Hot and number 3 in U.S Billboard Hot Rap Tracks.

Before giving the winner of this night's drawing. The new format will be similar to the one we used some time ago, using the Hive Tools application.
