In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Also, I will include the statistics I collect daily from Rising Star to keep you informed.
After I finished going through the hundred songs provided by Spotify that I listened to the most in the last year, I have thought of adding songs of my choice from my "Like" list that has more than 1000 songs. The last song I talked about in my last post was: El hijo de Hernandéz - El cuarteto de Nos
Chau: No te va a gustar
My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Chau of the uruguay group No Te Va a Gustar. “No Te Va A Gustar” together with La Vela Puerca, must be one of the most famous Uruguayan rock bands ever. As I mentioned in the previous post, the culture of Argentina and Uruguay is quite similar, so this band was also very successful in my country. I had the opportunity to listen for the first time to a song of theirs on the radio, the same one I will tell you about today. On the other hand, Julieta Venegas is a Mexican artist very well known in Latin America, with great hits such as “Lento”, “Me voy” and “Limon y Sal”. Julieta Venegas is not part of the original version of this song, however, she has a collaboration with the group where she participates in the song.
No Te Va a Gustar is an alternative rock band originally from Montevideo, Uruguay. Formed in 2004, their style mixes rock with pop. It was composed by Emiliano Brancciari, Santiago Tavella, Gonzalo Lema, and other members. The band has been very successful in Uruguay, but also in its neighboring country Argentina, where it has filled several stadiums in several of its presentations.
Before giving the winner of this night's drawing. I am going to show my statistics of the game Rising Star, that I have obtained thanks to a tool that I have developed in my web page Rising Star Utils, where it returns information like the amount of legendary, epic, rare, how much luck you have of each instrument and the total amount of them. The new format will be similar to the one we used some time ago, using the Hive Tools application. However, the application didn't always work, so this time we will be using a Discord bot that is in charge of returning a winner from among all the comments on a Hive post.
