A Song of Ice and Fire: Ramin Djawadi - My musical choice of the day and Rising Star Statistics

Good evening everyone!

In this section, I will no longer be handing out STARBITS, as those entries are not allowed. However, I will continue to share high-quality songs, share how I discovered them, and share some interesting facts about them. To top it all off, I will also include several tables with the statistics compiled by the Rising Star game.

Since May, I have been creating a playlist to keep track of the latest songs I have discussed in my posts. This will help me remember whether I have already talked about a song before or not. The most recent one is I'm Yours from the american artist Jason Mraz.

A Song of Ice and Fire: Ramin Djawadi

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is A Song of Ice and Fire from the composer Ramin Djawadi.

Today, I'm revisiting a topic I've touched on recently, mainly because I came across some songs by the artist I've chosen for today's post. I'm talking about how important music is when used in movies, TV series, or video games. In this case, I'll be talking about the second option.

Music is excellent for representing moments of tension, sadness, epicness, and different emotional states. For today's occasion, music is used to give a unique touch to the introduction of television series that have become iconic over time. Who hasn't enjoyed the soundtracks of series such as Vikings, Better Call Saul, The Witcher, Suits, and many more?

I mentioned a few weeks ago that I was rewatching one of the first series I ever saw: Prison Break. And one of the things that made me feel most nostalgic was the incredible soundtrack that accompanied its intro. So I did some research and came across Ramin Djawadi, the composer of that song.

What surprised me even more was that he was the composer of the soundtrack for one of the most legendary series on television: Game of Thrones. The intro song for each episode of Game of Thrones is amazing, because it features epic music with a medieval style.

Ramin Djawadi is a German composer renowned for creating some of the most epic soundtracks in television history. He studied at one of the world's most prestigious music schools during his childhood, which is why he maintained a great passion for music from a very young age and became part of several orchestras at a young age.

His career did not take off with a solo album or a single released on a whim. Instead, he made a name for himself in the industry by creating epic soundtracks for various audiovisual productions such as Iron Man (2008), Warcraft, Pacific Rim, Prison Break, Westworld, Game of Thrones, and House of the Dragon.

The music he ended up creating during all the seasons of the hit series Game of Thrones was so good that he was hired again to create all the music for all the series' spin-offs, such as House of the Dragons and the one coming in a few weeks.

Before moving on to the stats table I compiled for this post, I'll share my Rising Star game stats, which I compiled using a tool I created on my Rising Star Utils website.
