Advantage of Focusing on Music Lesson

in Rising Star Game2 years ago

After a week, I gained 5 levels from 40 to 50. This was probably the fastest I have and I'll be sharing this in case you are new to Rising Stars.

The trick to level up fast is to go for a music lesson. The first music lesson you can have are Basic Singing Lesson and Guitar Lesson at level 10. Music lessons last for an hour and gives **120 **experience. You only need 40 energy per music lesson. So basically music lesson gives the most experience per energy with the fastest time.

Before we proceed further, let's have some refresher of what missions and music lessons are.

  • Doing mission gives us some Starbits, which we use to spend inside the game. The amount of Starbits each mission rewards us depends on the mission type we are doing and the Fans we have. The higher the mission requirements (ex. Fans, Level, longer duration and higher energy), the higher the Starbits rewards will be.
  • Music lessons on the otherhand provides us some Skills. When you reach a certain level, you will now gain Ego after doing some missions. The main reason why you need to do music lessons is because you want to match your Skills with the Ego you have. Similar in the real world, you need Skills to backup your Ego atleast. In Rising Star, when your Ego is higher than your Skill, it limits the Starbits you will receive per missions.

Here's the breakdown of each music lesson's requirement.

Let's also show the breakdown of some missions from Home Town and Local Gig Circuit, and compare it with how many experience you will get factoring the required fans, energy and duration for each mission.

And while you are doing some music lessons, you should think of buying instruments. The luck stats from the instruments will affect the Skills you gained per music lesson. The higher the luck, the higher the skill points. The one thing you need to consider first before buying any instrument is that the luck from a specific instrument will only affect the skill point you get if that is related to the music lesson. So an example is buying a lot of guitars won't help you that much if you are doing Piano lessons. The trick here is to decide from the start which music lesson you want that is available to you based on your level.

Instruments

These are initially my collections of instrument just last week. S42 The Scratcher and S43 Pro DJ Mixer were the cards I got for free from participating in the Special Mission: Summer Breeze. I got 3 S42 The Scratcher and 1 S43 Pro DJ Mixer. These two cards both increase the skills for Production lesson.

And that is the reason why I decided to bought instruments related to Production lessons. I used all the Starbits I've saved plus the other tokens I received from blogging like SPTs, 1UP, and other tokens to bought these new cards. In a week, I search the market for higher luck per each Starbits (or lower Starbits per Luck). Basically you go for a higher stats per price and ignore the aesthetics or rarity for now.

Hopefully I get a good haul for this one. I'm not sure about the instruments from other music lessons but it may probably cheaper or expensive. Anyway, the good thing is if incase you want to switch, then you can sell this cards and bought instrument from other lessons.

Conclusion

Depending on your strategies whether to go for levels first before doing some missions or vice-versa, it's always good to know some tricks to execute it properly.

One popular strategy is to go for a level 50 as fast as possbile to be eligible for running special mission "STARBITS Millionaire". This means you need to focus on doing some music lessons to achieve it. Although doing "STARBITS Millionaire" requires you to have 1 million Starbits, that mean's if you are focusing on doing music lessons, you won't have some time to earn Starbits from missions. You need to invest some money to get that 1 million (around more or less 43$ right now).

If you think you won't have some spare money to buy the 1 Million Starbits, first of all don't worry. You don't need to rush things. You'll earn Starbits from doing missions in-game. Even though its small, I'm sure you can still get those hard-earned Starbits. Take time! I would suggest then to have a balance of missions and music lesson, and start building those fans as required by the missions. It's also good to get some Energy Boost or Pizza box to fully utilize the cold pizzas you're getting.
