From lowly busker to global mega star. My adventurous journey with Rising Star (day 42)

My 42th day as an aspiring musician in the game Rising Star has ended.

Today I once again focused exclusively on my Music Lessons.

Basic Singing Lessons (to be more precise). All day long. Day after day. Week after week.

This may sound boring at first sight, but when I look at how many Skill Points I got through my Music Lessons so far (and how many Ego I missed meanwhile 😁), I know it is the right way to go.

At least for me.

Here I show you screenshots from May 20, 2021, so you can see how far I was in my development when I started 24 days ago to focus exclusively on Music Lessons:

As you can see in the first screenshot, my situation was somewhat unrelaxed.

I had too few Skill Points compared to my Total Fans to keep my Ego balanced.

I even had to buy a Storage Container so that I could temporarily store several Vehicle cards with a lot of Fans in it and thus remove their stats from my collection.

To solve this problem once and for all, or at least to postpone it to a more distant future, I got myself as many affordable Instrument Cards as possible for one of the Music Lessons categories from the market in order to get more Skill Rewards for each completed Music lessons mission, because additional Instrument Cards of the appropriate category increase the average Skill Rewards per completed Music Lessons mission (more information on this can be found in the Frequently Asked Questions).

In my opinion, this clearly shows how successful my plan has been so far:

From 7561 Skill Points to 156238 Skill Points, so more than 20 times as much as before, in only 24 days is already an acceptable increase, I think.

And this will continue until I eventually reach level 75, so that I can then move on to the Orchestral Lessons, which will give me significantly more Skill Rewards per completed Music Lessons mission than I have now.

Two other additional benefits of my plan are also already visible:

First, by purchasing all the necessary Instrument Cards, my Total Luck has grown from 4415 Total Luck to 26,017 Total Luck.

Second, this has an impact on the number of Drunken Fans that can appear unexpectedly at some gigs:

15555 Drunken Fans tied in one Risky Whiskey card. That's more fans than I originally have in all my cards combined. 😃

I think we can slowly start talking about the real numbers.

By the way, I don't see these Drunken Fans as a problem, but as a welcome support for my gigs at big events, because since the number of Fans determines the median Starbits income of a gig, Drunken Fans increase this median Starbits income again significantly.

But let's change the subject at this point:

Remember that some time ago I wrote how unimportant I think my rank in the Player Rankings is?

I still see it that way.

But an occasional look at the Player Rankings can't hurt to assess whether you're still somewhat on track with your plans.

With the Total Unique Cards, my counter will soon stop, because I'm getting into areas where the costs for more Unique Cards are rising disproportionately without bringing a benefit in return that is in a reasonable relation to these costs. I will have them in my card collection also at some point, but that will need some time.

The number of Total Cards will certainly continue to grow steadily as long as I continue to receive interesting trade offers from other players or continue to buy and open card packs.

The Total IM (Income Modifier): No one in the Player Rankings top group has as little Total IM as I have.

And it confirms me in my assumption that Total IM are not of primary interest in my current situation. Nice to have but not a must.
