Two weeks ago I wrote a post announcing that very soon I would write a somewhat more technical and specific article about how things really work in our beloved Hive blockchain. Even saying, that I was afraid that many people around here most probably wouldn't understand a damn of what I would explain with every luxury of details. But despite and regardless that slight hunch I had where I was already anticipating the potential inconvenience regarding the whole understanding of my lecture from my entire readership. Here's the post with ¡The Ultimate Hive Tutorial!

In this "social network" on the blockchain which we use to call Hive, there's not such thing as "censorship resistance" when auto-censorship is enforced and promoted at all cost by those ranked high in the echelon of those with deep pockets full with ill-gotten money from the early days of the Ninja Mining in 2016.
Nor there's such a thing as "freespeech" either when these same greedy and brainless illiterate individuals also try to instill fear in other users and smaller stakeholders whose core in the content they create, it doesn't follow the mandatory guidelines of the type of "content" that they are so pleased to have and which is only exerted by a heap of equally brainless minions, sycophants and asskissers who are not only rewarded with big and fat upvotes, but they are also very well paid behind the scenes through other darker mechanisms that are not visible to everyone.
So, don't be stupid period! They all are indeed greedy liars and thieves stealing your time, effort, money & funds through your serious content creation. Unless... unless that you decide to drop your pants and also join the same stupid army of subdued minions, sycophants, asskissers and ladybugs. So that from the shadows, they can comfortably introduce HBDs through each orifice that you have exposed while you're kneeling with your ass open in the air creating bland & useless content by which no one else would pay a freaking shit. They're just disposable shills for the big honchos.

First of all, let me clarify that here at the Hive blockchain we are not in any ecosystem of scarcity. On the contrary, we have always been and still are in an environment and ecosystem of abundance. So, all those fuckers who brag and justify their downvotes to our posts with the excuse that it is to "adjust" our author rewards cuz are too high and fill back the rewards pool in order to be able to distribute them better among more people more deserving, are just blatantly lying to you.
First, let me tell you that daily and I mean DAILY, in the rewards pool there are never less than around 900,000 HIVE - 873,468 HIVE ~ $313,575.00 right now available to reward handsomely well to everyone still active here creating content.
And since with great difficulty I believe we are barely 10k naive users in total in Hive and half of that or less are those who are still active creating content. ¿How comes you don't wonder why the hell everyone's posts within the ecosystem don't earn at least 175 to 200 Hives daily each time they post their shit? We all deserve it, right?
Then, if a better distribution of the rewards pool is proclaimed, it is not precisely for lack of daily resources. There's plenty of Hive to reward absolutely everyone. So, never buy from these greedy motherfuckers the version that they have to arbitrarily downvote some posts to adjust the rewards and better distribute the do$h among the poor.
Ok, let's now move on to the next part of this tutorial.
¿How Many New Tokens Are Generated by the Hive Blockchain?
Hive began generating new tokens at a yearly inflation rate of 9.5% with the blockchain’s 16th hardfork on Dec 2016 at block 7,000,000. The inflation rate decreases by 0.01% every 250,000 blocks or about 0.5% per year. The inflation will decrease at this pace until the rate reaches 0.95%. And this will take roughly 20.5 years starting from the blockchain’s 16th hard fork on Dec 2016 and will complete on block 220,750,000.
The Hive Blockchain automatically ‘prints’ new Hive every block. The amount being determined by the Hive inflation rate (the ‘print rate’ of New Hive). As of November 2022, based on the current Hive inflation rate of approximately 7% per annum, the Hive blockchain ‘prints’ around 29 Million new Hive per year or about 560,000 New Hive per week.
New fresh Hive is minted/printed each time a Hive witness process and verify a new block with transaction data. "Transaction data" are those created by us the users of the Hive blockchain and which includes posting, comments, votes and Jsons. The voting part of the transaction data determine how the 65% of the New Hive printed allocated to ‘content rewards’ in the rewards pool gets distributed between content creators and "curators" (these last individuals the people who vote content).
¿How are distributed the new printed tokens?
As you can see, only the 65% of the New Hive printed goes to the rewards pool to reward authors & "curators" on a daily basis. 15% destined to HP holders via APR. 10% of these new printed tokens automatically goes directly to fill the DHF coffers with new funds. And the remaining 10% goes automatically and directly to the witnesses wallets for their services by processing blocks and mint new tokens.

¿And how much they earn weekly?
Okay, now let's take a look and talk a bit about the DHF funds. ¿Remember? Yeh! Yeh! that thingy within the Hive blockchain where a 10% of all the daily new printed Hive goes automagically to fatten its funds for some "privileged & selected" distribution.
At the moment there is 57M HIVE left to be converted from the 83M plus when started on October 2020. Since the creation of the Hive blockchain in March 2020, the funds under management in the DHF has gowned from under 1M HBD to 19M HBD at this moment. Funds added to the DHF are fatten under these procedures:
- 10% share from the inflation.
- Ninja mined HIVE conversions to HBD.
- HBD transfers to the DHF.
- HIVE transfers to the DHF.
- DHF as posts beneficiary.
- Transfers that are made by the @hbdstabilizer.
¡And now how are distributed the DHF funds!

Yeah, just hover the pointer of your mouse over the number of votes at the right of the little heart to see who are the ones upvoting these comments and with how many buck$ they contribute to the cause.
"It's strange that the number of projects receiving funding from the DHF went down since 2020. To me that's a sign that the process of applying to get support from the DHF is cumbersome to say the least and that's not great for long term development" feedback by @cmmemes.

In this previous post I already warned to these powerful, opulent and spoiled Hivers who also exert, encourage and allow the whimsical policing and unjustified punishment through downvotes with impunity across the hive ecosystem to steal the few bucks in rewards from us the authors jointly with the rewards of our upvoters/curators in our content that isn't too much of their liking.
