Wow I keep getting reminded how amazing your surroundings are down there! I definitely have to visit at some point and witness it myself.

I would imagine that extreme terrain next to massive bodies of water must play havoc with weather prediction. Up here, we are relatively flat and inland so they get the forecast right most of the time. I just ignore any reports more than 4 days from the actual date. ;)

Yep! You are right, and everyone here jokes about the poor weatherman, but I would not want his job for all of the money in the world. The Atlantic at the one side and the Indian ocean at the other side. Then the mountain ranges also have a disturbing effect on the weather patterns, especially when the wind comes from inland to flow over the mountains, and we sit smack bang in the middle of all of this. One day 29C and the next day 22C !LOL
