Could be a case of "you don't you what you've got until it's gone" but it also think its a big shift in focus and on how I see the world.
That is an interesting part of the life. Sometimes we tend to value things after we lose them. Unfortunately I also experienced this myself personally.

But there is a lesson in there somewhere right?
Maybe a push to appreciate what we have more, not in fear per se, but just because we still can.
