I publish a series of photographs in HDR (High Dynamic Range), as a photographic technique where a high contrast is highlighted with greater intensity, both in the bright tones and dark tones of the image, thereby obtaining a different composition in the ranges of luminance in the appearance of the frame, which can be obtained in two ways, configuring the camera or even the camera of the mobile phones have such an option to use the HDR mode, and another way would be with a photo editing program, which allows you to modify the values to have a photograph in HDR.
As the first cover photograph, I captured part of what can be seen as a Christian church, and with a little more detail of its structure, I try to compose the structure in harmony with the cloud formations, which in HDR is denoted with a greater detail of the contrast of the sky.
I think that a better result can be obtained with photographs, which are taken during the day and where a large part of the sky can be seen, because in this way a better contrast of all the elements in the photograph can be created, as for example in this photograph we can see with more intensity the tones of the sculpture, the building and its contrast with the sky as a background.
In this case the HDR, as in the previous photographs, you can see all the details of what would be the rust of the grilles, but in reality my intention with the photograph is in the figures in the background, which are made up of a series of buildings.
Although it is not very noticeable in this photograph, it is possible to see the contrast of luminance, the intensity of the colour and the tonal range, both of the building and all the branches and leaves of the tree, which form part of the photographic composition.
The particularity of this photo, is more than all its composition during the sunset of the day, in this way it creates a range of colours between softer and stronger, which together with the HDR, is perceived a wider aspect of its tonal range and luminance, as well as highlighting the main figure, in this occasion part of what is the refinery El Palito, Carabobo state.
And as a last photograph, I captured this image, applying the HDR technique, during night hours, so in one part I had to work with much higher ISO values, creating electronic noise in the image, but I still like the result, because I managed to capture the silhouette of the mountain, in the middle of an intense night, and with little illumination, not from the moon itself.
All photographs are my own and were taken with Canon T3i and Nikon P520 cameras.
Great photos! Love the one with the towers and sun!
