Hi there!
My name is Tyson Waldron and I’m currently living in Melbourne, Australia. Growing up in country Victoria with not many sights to see I wasn’t introduced into the photography scene until I moved down to the city at the age of 22.
Specialising in Landscape photography I like to try out all genres from seascapes, to Astro, aerial photography and everything in between.
I’ve been shooting now for a solid 6 years with 3 of those years where I’ve really tried to focus in and put some effort in.
I’m also super lucky here in Victoria, as we have some unreal scenery only a few hours drive from my door. Epic Great Ocean Road cliffs on one side, snowy rainforests on the other side, so there’s always something to aim for all year round.
Image info:
I hadn't visited this set of falls in over 4 years until
last week! Wasn't expecting the conditions to be so
good being the middle of summer and 35 degrees
here.
I had to go for a lower more intimate composition
here as there were plenty of people cooling off
underneath the falls.
3x seperate images, blended into one final image.
Enjoy!
Welcome on Hive :) This photo makes a very good beginning!

This is lovely i love it!!!
Thanks so much! Just one of those days where it all works out perfectly
Hey Tyson! Welcome to hive. Love to see another photographer from the land down under. I frequently get jealous of some of the amazing landscapes you guys get down there.
Looking forward to seeing more of your stuff
Thanks mate! We are pretty spoilt down here I’ll admit. I think I’m just as jealous of the landscapes you guys have up there in Canada! I’m itching to get up there soon and shoot some of those wild peaks and lakes you have.
You'll definitely have to make your way up here. I can't deny I live in one of the best places in the world too.
If you do make it up here give me a shout. I can either show you some epic places, or hook you up with some other amazing photogs that could probably show you a spot or two... Hell at the least I can give you a checklist to go through haha
Oh you’re a legend mate!! That’d be perfect! If all goes to plan I’ll be up in Toronto around the start of September. Hopefully make my way over to the western side as well!
That's a beautiful shot. Welcome to Hive, Tyson! :)
Thanks Cath!
Hi Tyson and welcome to hive. I grew up in Melbourne but have been up Brisbane now for years. Looking forward to seeing some of your work. I should be able to learn a bit and hopefully improve my posts too.
Hi mate! Oh nice! I really want to explore more of Brisbane and QLD. The forests and waterfalls you guys have up there are unreal! I actually got to shoot Curtis falls over the Christmas break.
Welcome to Hive, Tyson! Good to see a fellow Victorian on here! I'm looking forward to seeing your photography!
Thanks Kieran!
Likewise! Victorian landscape photography take over time!
