📷 Ferris Wheel + Crystal Ball + Puddle [EN/DE]

When I was in Batumi last summer, I found a puddle behind a Ferris wheel when I was out with my camera in the evening. Luckily I had my crystal ball with me, because I immediately had the idea to use it there. I put the camera on the ground so that I could take a longer exposure. This way I could use a higher f-number to keep the whole sphere in focus and not let the background blur too much, so that it was still possible to see the Ferris wheel clearly. In the end, I was very happy with the shots and gave them the right finishing touches in post-processing.

Als ich letzten Sommer in Batumi war, fand ich eine Pfütze hinter einem Riesenrad, als ich abends mit meiner Kamera unterwegs war. Zum Glück hatte ich meine Glaskugel dabei, denn sofort kam mir die Idee, sie dort zum Einsatz zu bringen. Ich legte die Kamera auf den Boden damit ich länger belichten konnte. So konnte ich eine höhere Blendenzahl verwenden, um die gesamte Kugel scharf abzubilden und die Hintergrundunschärfe nicht zu stark werden zu lassen, damit man das Riesenrad noch gut erkennen konnte. Am Ende war ich sehr zufrieden mit den Aufnahmen und verlieh ihnen in der Nachbearbeitung noch den passenden Feinschliff.
