Winter is coming... or so they say in Game of Thrones. Honestly, if I hear that one more time, I might just put on a woolly hat and start reciting quotes like I’m in the show. But seriously, let’s talk about seasons. We all have that one season we love more than others, right?
I live in a place where, in theory, we’re supposed to get four distinct seasons. You know the drill... spring, summer, autumn, and winter. But lately, it feels like the seasons are all blending together into some weird weather smoothie. One day it’s summer, the next day it’s winter, and I’m over here like, “Can we please let autumn have its moment?”
I still want to enjoy spring, when everything blooms and the air smells like fresh grass. I want to appreciate summer, when I complain about the heat but secretly love that I don’t need a jacket in the morning. I want to revel in autumn, when the leaves slowly change color and I step outside to crisp, foggy air. And yes, I even want to embrace winter, when the trees are bare, and I can cozy up with a blanket and a hot cup of tea while watching snowflakes fall.
But right now? It’s all a bit of a seasonal mess. Yet, I’m rolling with it. Every kind of weather has its perks! That said, I’m definitely not ready for snowflakes just yet. I want to watch the leaves turn those beautiful autumn colors and enjoy the cool morning mists before winter barges in like that one relative who shows up way too early for a party.
Oh, and if you’ve been following along, you’ll know I’ve posted seasonal photos through the years. But this year? I’ve been especially focused on snapping pics from each season to see what kind of shots I’ve managed to collect. Plus, let’s be honest—I desperately need to clear out my phone because it’s practically screaming for space! Seriously, I’m down to my last gigabyte, so once these photos are posted, I can finally delete them and give my poor phone a well-deserved vacation.
Winter
Since the rainy weather has had me trapped indoors, I’ve been super productive. I’ve read three whole books, sipped through two boxes of tea, and cleaned my apartment so many times that I could probably eat off the floor. (Not that I’d recommend it, but hey, it’s an option.) And just to top it off, I’m baking my husband’s favorite dessert as we speak. It’s in the oven, but it’s still too hot to devour, and let me tell you, the wait is excruciating!
So, here’s to whatever weather decides to show up next. Whether it’s sunshine, snowflakes, or surprise hailstorms, let’s keep the cameras ready. Every season’s a chance for a new favorite photo!

I’m curious, which season do you think is the best? Which one makes you do a little happy dance inside? Tell me your thoughts!
