Sudden snowfall triggered a de facto "curfew"

The snowfall, which began early this morning, has covered everything in white. It had snowed a while ago, but that snow has melted. Now there's fresh, new snow on the ground. The amount of snow is exactly as the meteorological warnings indicated. I took the photos during the first hours of the snowfall. It's been snowing continuously for about 12 hours, and is expected to snow for another 10 hours. By then, there should be around 60 cm of snow on the ground.

In the city where I live, snowfall is practically a "curfew." Those who don't have work don't leave their homes. They can imagine what might happen to them if they do. Life comes to a standstill after snowfall. Transportation grinds to a halt, and it causes many accidents.

The fact that it's the weekend also contributes to the streets being almost empty. Apart from university students with exams, adults who have to work, and those doing grocery shopping, everyone is at home. Of course, there are also those like me who leave home to meet up with friends.

The snowfall intensified at higher altitudes. This area is about 150 meters higher than where I live. Naturally, the snowfall is heavier, and the storm is even more intense. The storm and snowfall are so severe that even the signs are unreadable. Many people are happy about the snow. Some are watching the snowfall from their windows in their warm homes, while others dream of skiing on a sunny day. There are children who are happy that the snow will stop so they can play snowball fights and build snowmen outside. On the other hand, for those who struggle to heat their homes and work in harsh winter conditions, the snowfall is not at all welcome.

Yes, just like you said.

It's really beautiful.

Are you in the process of exiting the ecosystem?

No, absolutely not.

Dam man you coming in hot 🤣

Ok well I just noticed your account because your KE is ramping up. This is a blockchain so it’s easy to see KE ratio and if people are sending HIVE to exchanges.

People get downvoted for KE ratio all the time. Not just by me but I downvote people for high KE pretty regularly. I would recommend reading into KE ratio.

Have a good one!

Someone warned me about the KE ratio, so I'm paying attention to it now. Sometimes we have to initiate a powerdown, and sometimes a power-up.

I will be more careful about this.

Yea. At least you have good posts, it has been saving you from downvotes I would guess.

If your post was automated or repetitive nonsense I would have downvoted it but I honestly like them.

If you had a lower KE (2.0 or below) I would prob have upvoted you if I saw this account randomly. My mana is low usually so I do not upvote a lot of people outside my community anymore but your posts are more of what I like to see. Real stuff that is not a bunch of crypto nonsense.

But I do try to upvote people with low KE especially people below 1 because that is an objective way to see if someone is a good stakeholder.

But these are also my opinions. Other stakeholders have different reasons for why they downvote.
