Early morning visit to Mattapoisett

Last year I visit Mattapoisett a nearby town here in Massachusetts for early morning walks both at the town beach and the town wharf, I have shared shots of visits there, but have a few views that I had not edited and shared so prepared a few for this post.

Beside the town beach there is a small pier or Dock, and I walked out on it to get this viewpoint looking across the water at some of the properties mother nature gave us some lovely nice warm colors that morning.

And this is the dock I was standing on for the first shot, not sure why I was having a brainfade on whether it is a dock or a pier, clearly to me it looks like a dock

and near the town Wharf is a little green field ( which admittedly at the time was not so green, with the long dry period we had at the time) with this cool gazebo, with the whale wind vane on the top.

I think it looked even more impressive that morning with the gorgeous sunrise colors in the background.

They clearly have events hosted in the gazebo, seeing the speakers mounted on the roof.

On one of the docks at the wharf that morning I noticed the colorful ladders going down to the water, many small boats were tied up in the water down from those ladders, I guess walking up to find your boat you could make it easier by relating where ones boat is to one of the colored ladders

it may be a small town and a small wharf, but it is well used as you can see lots of boats tied up here.
